Wk1 Post 3 - Planning

Planning:  Today I was looking for filming locations. To do this I used Zillow. I was specifically looking for a house that looked more lower middle class, and then a mansion. I made sure that the locations I was looking at were in a neighborhood or community that wasn't gated. After I found 3 options for each, I asked Lauren to help me decide which one. In the end we decided to go with a house that is in my old neighborhood, and a home that is in St. Armands circle. Each of these locations will have their own day for filming along with a backup day. Today I also did some research as to where I can find my costume for my character Emma. I need to find an almost British school girl uniform. I need a plan pleated skirt and a white shirt, maybe long sleeve, and some sort of blazer type of thing that matches the skirt. My two options to buy these from is Shein or Goodwill.

Wk 7 Post 1 - Editing

 Editing: Started out this week slow. In class we were working on essays, so we didn't have too much editing time in class. Started by double checking the placement and timing and order of all the different clips. Once I was sure they were all in the right order I started to think about where I'd put different transitions. Which clips would transition into which, will it fade to black or white, how long would the transitions and fades last. Once I had all the transitions placed, I watched it through again to make sure it flowed smoothly and I asked Lauren what she thought, and we were both happy with it so far.
