Wk 2 Post 2 - Plot and Genre

 This is our story plot line: 

Emma gets out of her expensive car to her big mansion, tired looking face. Her clothes are neat. However, across town, Lily walks fast down the sidewalk in her work uniform as she carries her phone. Later, Emma's car breaks down on a quiet eerie road. Her phone is out of service. Lily notices her while walking. She debates whether or not to walk over and help her. She walks over and asks if she needs a hand. Emma is irritated and responds sarcastically “I don't know.” I think I will need a miracle. Lily jokes, I could offer you a ride. They get into Lily’s worn-down car, and as they are driving, Emma glances out the window, it seems like the weight has been lifted off her shoulders and her face softens. Lily notices but stays quiet. Where are you headed anyway? Lily asked. Wherever they want me to, Emma says. Then, in that moment, a connection that neither girl expected sparks. The car continues driving. The audience is left with a feeling that two very different lives are about to collide in ways no one could imagine. 

Genre: Drama. Focus on character development and emotional depth.
